Thank You, Thank You

Our school held its 150th Anniversary celebrations on 7 and 8 September. Starting with a special assembly, followed by a traditional aboriginal smoking ceremony and opening of our Sesquicentennial Garden. Saturday was an Open Day where past students, teachers and staff came together to reminisce as well as celebrate with our school community.  A wonderful historical display was set up in the hall and library, along with class stalls, green screen photo booth and jumping castle. Thank you to our wonderful staff who worked tirelessly to pull this event together, especially Mrs Morgan, Mrs Fletcher and Mrs Ford. Congratulations on a successful celebration!

Grant Submission Successful!

Tania Milhailuk 2The upgrades funded by the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnership (CBP) have been completed.  After submitting a submission, the P&C received a grant of $51,700 and used it for the installation of the Kiss and Drop awning and to upgrade the awning on the Kindergarten verandas. Pictured here is State MP for Bankstown, Tania Mihailuk who visited our school to congratulate the school on the improvements.

UniformThe two year transition period of moving to the new school uniform has now finished. Hence, we would ask that all children be in the current school uniform from 2018.
